Manchester United Captain Michael Carrick Speaks On Why He Continues To Warm The Bench

Manchester United captain, Michael Carrick is waiting to play his first competitive game for the Old Trafford club this season.
The long-serving 36-year-old midfielder was made skipper after Wayne Rooney signed for boyhood club, Everton this summer.
However, the former Tottenham Hotspur playmaker, has so far been an unused substitute in the Super Cup defeat to Real Madrid and was left out of the squad entirely against West Ham on the opening weekend of the Premier League.
