Edo State Woman Who Sells Stolen Babies For N20,000 Arrested In Kano (PHOTO)

Men of Kano state police command have arrested an Edo state woman who sells babies at N20,000 each. Her name is Itapom.

Itapom was said to have arrived Sabongari area of Kano for prostitution business. According to information gathered, she was reported to have brought a five-month old baby girl after trading for N13,000.

After police arrested her, she narrated why she was involved in child trafficking. Itapom stated that some couples who were unable to have children from Rivers state insisted she brought them the stolen babies.

Kano state police public relations officer, DSP Majia made it known that three alleged kidnappers/child traffickers escaped from their custody.

The police spokesperson said when investigation is completed, the kidnappers will be arraigned before a court of law.
